The position will be located in Aarhus.
Key Responsibilities:
In the Maersk Projects & Logistics - SCU3 Aid & Relief team, you will be a part of a team of 9 experienced colleagues, where we strive to deliver the best operational service for our customers.
Your main responsibilities will from our “Control Tower Setup” be, amongst others:
- Work as the Primary Contact Person for larger clients – Handling cross-trade shipments including Air, Ocean, RoRo, project, etc.
- Responsible for the end-to-end customer experience, handling all operational matters, Nevertheless managing quoting, re-procurement when needed, re-selling and invoicing on daily basis.
- Exploring new opportunities together with clients upselling when possible.
- Together with the network both internally and externally identifying challenges and finding ways to improve, on both cost and service level.
- Own customer escalations together with the Operations Manager.
- Be the main focal to close the operational/financialfiles properly internally & externally towards the client and relevant extra parties.
- Driving to meet clients KPIs.
We are looking for:
Our ideal candidate is a self-driven person who can stay cool in a hectic and complex environment. You strive in a collaborative role being responsible for the service provided and you are always will go All the way!
Our preferred candidate has:
- At least 3-5 Years’ experience with freight forwarding – preferably with knowledge from multimodal shipments e.g. Ocean/Air/Air charter/Project/RoRo etc.
- Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written English.
- A collaborative mindset with a positive and “can do” attitude, strive being part of and collaborate with a multi-international team.
- Holding a "helicopter" overview mentality and can stay focused and keep their shipments in order even if it takes extra time to properly finalize.
- Having an ownership mentality, stepping forward & taking initiative and being a real team player.
- Eagerness to be best in class and part of a winning team.
- Ability to be flexible when needed as our job is not always 8-16
- Ability to travel approx. 5-10 days a year (mostly for 1 day to Copenhagen but can be a 2-day trip abroad)
