You will be reinforcing our team in developing a new payment processing system that is able to do international payments within seconds while simultaneously enhancing the functionalities towards the clients with the aim of fulfilling Banking Circle’s overall goal of creating a state-of-the-art payment experience to all clients.

You will be reporting to the Head of Core Payments Execution and be a part of a highly experienced and dedicated team. You will be working closely with Payment’s Engineering and have a broad touch base with a variety of stakeholders across the bank as the teams is responsible for the entire implementation process.

What you will be doing

• Facilitate implementation of strategic initiatives
• Converting strategic ambitions into features in our payment infrastructure and supporting the entire implementation process
• ​Understand and translate business requirements to user stories
• ​Collaborate with Engineering teams to describe and deliver features
• ​​Responsible of understanding payment processing through our infrastructure
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver key components, manage expectations​, education, go live management and reach operational maturity
• Participate in testing to sign off on solutions, be a key part of the hyper care process and handover/educate operational departments

What we are looking for
To be considered for the position, we expect you to have a relevant degree on minimum a Bachelor level. We expect you to have up to 3 years of relevant experience, from either a student assistant role, or Analyst level experience with a previous or current employer, preferably within banking and payment systems. You must have a flair for developing and specifying solutions and be accustomed to successfully managing implementations.

It is important that you can manage multiple tasks simultaneously. If you also have knowledge of IT infrastructure and development workflows it will be seen as an asset. As skills in SQL and experience with XML and JSON will be a large advantage, knowledge of basic accounting principles is a requirement.

As a person you are a well-organized and knowledge sharing team player, who knows the value of clear and precise communication. You’re a self-starter who has a planning approach to solving tasks and handling challenges. You do what is required to complete your tasks at hand. You have great people skills and can easily understand and explain complex things in an adjusted way to fit the audience. You appreciate being a trouble-shooter and enjoy taking responsibility and driving a process forward with strong focus on strategic goals and measurable business values.

As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.

The position will be based onsite at Banking Circle’s Office in Copenhagen.
