People Operations Specialist

Join us in this role, where you’ll serve as Tier 1 support of the ServiceNow ticket system, post-payroll accounting, preparing and balancing payroll and benefit journal entries, and time/leave management support in SAP.

You’ll be part of the GPS Americas Region, together with your colleagues, you will be the ‘backbone’ of People Operations and ensure the day-to-day operations. In addition to the ongoing daily operations, team members participate in relevant projects and drive global processes including reporting, knowledge management, and analytics. As a team we work collaboratively and support each other to reach a shared goal.
You’ll play an important role in:
- supporting questions and requests from managers, employees, and candidates via the ServiceNow ticket system.
- supporting accounting & master data procedures to ensure accurate post-payroll reporting.
- supporting administrative tasks related to time registration and leave management in collaboration with Total Rewards.
- supporting continuous process and procedure improvement initiatives, enhancing quality and efficiency.
- supporting a seamless HR onboarding process, in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders, to ensure employees understand employee benefits & HR policies.
- supporting payroll data entry and projects as needed in UKG.
To succeed in this role, you:
- have working experience in SAP with experience in SuccessFactors being a plus.
- have the ability to prepare and reconcile payroll and benefit journal entries for general ledger posting.
- have working experience in UKG payroll preferred, but not required.
- have working experience in SAP time and attendance.
- have the ability to analyze and resolve questions and problems independently with a customer service mindset.
- have a strong ability to clearly communicate with team members, external data providers, and management.
