Location: Northampton - Hybrid ( once integrated in team, 3 days at home 2 days in office per week)
Permanent – Full Time

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our team, reporting to report to the Senior Demand Planning Manager. The Demand Planner will be responsible for forecasting demand using different sources of information. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of demand planning.

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage aligned forward forecast from Sales and overlaying with market data, sales/EPOS data, latest intelligence to create the final Demand view
• Responsible for sharing the assumptions related to the latest forecast to highlight future risks & opportunities and to interpret the impact of the forecast changes
• Continuously improve forecast accuracy through weekly measurement, trend analysis & tracking of forecasts vs sales
• Manage customer prioritisation, working closely with Sales, supply planning, Customer Service and logistics
• Support Budget and estimate process
• Work cross functionally with sales, marketing, finance and Customer Service to ensure that the latest forecast reflects the planned sales and marketing activity

Experience and Key Attributes required:

• Previous experience in demand planning within FMCG is desired
• Familiarity with supply chain best practices, gained within ideally the industry and with retailer behaviours
• Initiative to analyse data and information to highlight risks/opportunities
• Knowledge of using multiple sources of data, internal and external (SAP/APO, Retail Link, Connect, BI)
• Strong communication & influencing skills
• Advanced excel user
• Ability and confidence to makes decisions and resolve problems
