Are you ready to use your skills to develop pioneering biosolutions for a more sustainable world? If so, you could be our new colleague in Applied Research for Baking.
We are looking for an experienced research associate to join our team of scientists, bakers and research associates in our Innovation Campus in Lyngby, Denmark.

Welcome to Novonesis Application Research in Baking
You will be part of a department consisting of scientists, laboratory technicians and bakers. Your role will be to work closely with a passionate group of colleagues to create the next innovative biosolution for our global baking partners.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Your role will be to work closely with a passionate group of colleagues to create the next innovative solution for our global baking partners. You will be responsible for preparing, conducting and documenting experiments in close collaboration with one or more research scientists. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to build up new skills and work in a dynamic international organization.

Potentially relevant experience:

  • Education as Lab technician (laborant), with practical experience within research and development in the food industry, biotechnology industry or academia.
  • Experience in working with enzymes (application work, general understanding of enzyme function etc) and cultures (propagation, fermentation, etc) would be of advantage
  • Experience with analytical equipment (HPLC, HP-SEC, IC, GC) and with a variety of methods for carbohydrate, lipid, fibre and protein analysis
  • An open minded and positive attitude a and a wish to achieve results together with others as well as working independently
  • Be skilled in Microsoft Office and take an interest in data analysis and digital tools - experience with statistical tools or coding experience would be a benefit
  • Be fluent in English both written and spoken
  • Desire to learn new things and take ownership
  • Competences within data management, statistical evaluation and programming are a clear advantage since digital solutions and data management are clearly in focus in our research area.
