What is the opportunity?
You will join the Corporate Strategy team, where we get to work with many different types of businesses such as Wholesale, Retail, online, direct-to-consumer and insurance businesses. This role focuses on HR. This means that you will be a Strategy Business Partner to the Global HR leadership team and the Chief HR Officer in particular. You will make a significant contribution to a truly global organization, enhancing your strategic skills and bolstering your international experience. The position is in our HQ in Lynge just outside Copenhagen and reports to the Head of Corporate Strategy.
What is the role?
- Support development and implementation of strategic HR topics
- Support building and cascading the Corporate Strategy with a special focus on HR (For example organizational design, span of control analyses, incentives, location strategy, and much more)
- Participate in HR leadership meetings
- Implement chosen strategic goals
- Identify, evaluate and define other strategic initiatives in the scope of WSA’s multiple businesses
- Assess economic implications, prepare related business cases
- Build pitches for initiatives including feasibility analyses
- Oversee the initiation of innovative endeavors
- Ensure buy-in, ownership and continuous reinforcement of strategic initiatives
- Develop and deliver effective decision-making materials (for both Group Management and the WSA Board of Directors)
Who do we envision you are?
Your academic achievements reflect a high level of expertise gained through your advanced education. You have minimum 2+ years’ experience as a management consultant or in-house strategy consultant, likely with a special focus on HR excellence, and are ready to move to a new adventure.
Moreover, you possess the following qualifications:
- You are a strategic thinker
- You have the capability to oversee several initiatives simultaneously while maintaining progress in each one
- You possess remarkable interpersonal abilities and can navigate the intricacies of a multifaceted matrix organization
- You can quickly turn people into promoters of the cause you are working on, incl. senior executives
- You are highly skilled in numerical analysis and adept at qualitative assessments, employing a strategic framework for problem-solving
- You are great at reducing complexity and communicate via PowerPoints and other tools
- Your communication skills, particularly in English, are evident in your written work and verbal interactions
- Your approach reflects a growth mindset, characterized by proactivity and a high level of enthusiasm
