JOB TITLE - Senior Business Analyst
LOCATION - Denmark, Sweden
HOURS - 40 hours
ABOUT THE ROLE.
At Scandinavian Tobacco Group DK & SE sales cluster, we are committed to leveraging data to drive business success. We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial in maximizing the value of our data and ensuring accurate sales analysis, insights and forecasting. To help leverage our sales and marketing team so that they can accelerate our growth enablers.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Maximize Data Value: drive value from data across DK&SE markets, ensuring optimal data use for strategic decisions.
- Automate Sales Data: streamline and enhance sales data management processes, working closely with key stakeholders.
- Category & Market Analysis: perform category analysis and provide insights for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead Forecasting: manage data validation, and oversee volume, event, and discount forecasting for campaigns.
- Campaign & KPI Tracking: monitor campaign performance, KPIs, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Pricing & Market Monitoring: conduct price simulations, set pricing strategies, and track market price developments, identifying risks and opportunities.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED?
- Data Management & Forecasting Experience: proven background in managing data and leading event forecasting.
- Analytical Excellence: strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Technical Proficiency: skilled in data analysis tools and software, including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM/ERP tools (Salesforce & SAP) and PowerBi is a plus.
- Communication & Collaboration: exceptional communication and collaboration skills, adaptable in both independent and team settings.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or a related field.
- Relevant Experience: 2-5 years in a sales operations or data/insights role; FMCG experience is highly advantageous.
- Market Data Knowledge: familiar with AC Nielsen or similar market data sources.
- Language Skills: fluent English is required; Danish/Swedish is a plus.
- Independent & Team-Oriented: demonstrated ability to work autonomously and contribute effectively to team goals.
