The Plant Performance & Reporting department within Vestas R&D designs and delivers products and services for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting data from renewable energy power plants. This includes SCADA products, plant monitoring, reporting solutions, asset diagnostics, and performance measurements. We are part of a larger Modelling & Analytics team spread across development centers which consists of highly skilled, international, highly experienced, cross-discipline employees located across Portugal, Denmark and India.

Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a designated technical area, creating visionary architecture that supports the roadmap
- Prepare projects, including clarifying scope and requirements, initial design, stakeholder reviews, risk assessment, and documentation
- Act as a technical leader alongside the project manager throughout the Vestas Project Execution Model
- Design and lead implementations focused on high availability, maintainability, and cybersecurity
- Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies and contribute to technology roadmaps and projects
- Well-acquainted with Microsoft Azure, demonstrating a solid comprehension of the principles of cloud architecture and system integration
- Write high-quality code
Qualifications
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant IT field
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture for large applications/systems
- Experience with C#/.NET Core, Python, Java, C++ (in order of importance), Microservice technologies, Big data transport, data streaming, data busses, Docker and Kubernetes (preferably with cloud deployments)
- Experience with continuous integration with Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, Atlassian suite, or similar tools
- Experience with SQL and data warehousing knowledge and basic web technologies (Angular, Typescript, Node.js)
- Experience with Infrastructure technologies and component, Linux server administration, 24/7 service concepts, deployment, and Bash scripting
- Experience with MS Windows server administration, round-the-clock service concepts, deployment, and PowerShell scripting is beneficial
