Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for production environments and a knack for both people and technical management? We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our project management team, responsible for planning and executing our new factory. This role includes overseeing functional and supporting areas such as the Machining Academy, maintenance workshop, R&D labs, and office spaces.

In this position, you will handle a variety of tasks in close cooperation with the project team, including project management according to scope, timeline, and budget, team management, and stakeholder coordination. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion and handover of project installations.

The project team for the new Factory and Logistics Center at MAN Energy Solutions is currently forming a new team. This presents a unique opportunity to significantly impact the development of our new Factory and Logistics Center. You will play an important role in:
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a solid project management experience from a production environment and a combined people and technical mindset. You will be part of the project management team for the planning and execution of the new factory with responsibility for functional and supporting areas e.g. the Machining Academy, maintenance workshop, R&D labs, office- and people areas etc.

The position provides a large interface to the organization with many stakeholders and the opportunity to work with various types of tasks.

You will be handling a variety of tasks in close cooperation with the project team such as:

• Project Management according to scope, timeline and budget
• Project team management
• Project scope definitions and solutions in cooperation with internal customers
• Reporting on project portfolio
• Workshop facilitation
• Solution investigation and clarification
• Preparation of factory layout in cooperation with external consultant and internal stakeholders
• Interfaces/coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Specification of machinery and equipment
• Supplier sourcing
• Project installations, completion and handover

We imagine that you:

• Have a background in e.g. engineering or other related fields
• Have +5 years of experience with project management
• Have thorough experience with project team leadership and stakeholder management
• Have a strong methodical approach and the ability to achieve commitment from stakeholders
• Are structured, result-oriented and able to execute projects according to the given schedule
• Have good collaboration and communication skills
• Are a team player, enjoying to share experience and sustain organizational learning
• Have previous experience from a production environment
• Are fluent in English both in speech and writing

With reference to the Head of Technology you will also be anchored in the technical department with 35 colleagues working with both daily operations and on various projects to improve technology and the working environment.

MAN Energy Solutions is relocating our facilities in Copenhagen and Holeby to our new 175.000 m2 plot in Trekroner, Roskilde. The relocation of approx. 2.000 people includes the establishment of a new factory and logistics center of approx. 34.000 m2 for our 350 colleagues. The factory produces parts for two-stroke ship engine fuel injection and the logistic center supplies parts globally for the new and aftersales market.
