Do you have experience using various tools and methodologies to uncover potential problems and gain insights? Do you understand the importance of testing and validating designs with users throughout the design process, from concept to implementation? If so, take this opportunity to become our new Senior Product Designer and help us build intuitive, scalable solutions that enable our organisation to meet its strategic goals.

The job

Here’s what the job entails
In this role, your main focus is to design impactful user experiences and seamless journeys by leading prototyping and user testing.

Your responsibilities include:

  • lead the end-to-end design process, from discovery research to effective problem framing, ideation, co-creation, prototyping and user testing, culminating in high-quality designs that significantly impact our business goals
  • use best practices from our onboarding and adoption strategies to generate experiments and solutions and validate these using qualitative and quantitative methods
  • integrate research findings into the design process to improve user experience and build meaningful solutions
  • communicate research findings, tests, designs, and ideas throughout the process by collaborating with the team to justify, present and share knowledge about the design decisions made
  • contribute to the growth of our product organisation by improving design processes and mentoring other team members.

You will be part of the Product and Delivery Management team, which is an outcome-driven team dedicated to designing smooth user experiences and improving our internal processes. Your qualifications

We are looking for a colleague with a user-centric design mindset that allows you to deeply understand and empathise with users. We also picture you as someone who values cross-team collaboration while having the drive and discipline to work independently.

We also imagine that you:

  • have at least five years of experience in a position where you defined user experiences and journeys
  • have a portfolio showcasing your design impact across various products
  • are proficient in using various tools and methodologies to conduct research
  • can explain design decisions clearly and with empathy
  • have experience testing and validating designs using qualitative and quantitative methods

Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
