Cadeler is a global partner in offshore wind farm construction and maintenance, and we are part of an industry that is now, more than ever, both relevant and in high demand. As our industry continues to grow, so do we! We are currently looking for a commercially minded Contract Manager who will be able to provide contractual support and guidance to our sales team for active tenders, and our projects team concerning contracts that have reached their operational phase, ensuring that Cadeler is well protected from contractual risk and that its obligations are well understood across the business.
What will you do?
As our new Contract Manager, you will work closely with our sales team to draft, review and negotiate client contracts. You will manage multiple stakeholders and work with commercial and technical colleagues to ensure high contractual quality both in the tender and in the operational phases of Cadeler’s offshore wind projects.
Your main tasks will include:
- Providing feedback to the commercial team and leading on contractual matters during negotiations, to maximize the commercial attractiveness of Cadeler’s submissions while protecting our contractual position to the greatest extent possible.
- Aligning with our legal, insurance, finance and tax teams on all aspects of a tender before submission.
- Mapping major contractual liabilities post contract signature and assisting the project team in managing contractual deliverables throughout the operational phase of Cadeler’s offshore wind projects.
- Promoting a high degree of awareness of key contractual terms across the wider Cadeler organization.
- Keeping up to date with developments in the market concerning contractual terms and trends.
- Assisting our finance and project teams with financial forecasting and business/cost control.
- Assisting the contract management team in the implementation of a contract lifecycle management solution.

We are looking for a solution-oriented person, with a flair for details. You will have strong time management skills and take pride in achieving the best solution under pressure. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy communicating and negotiating with various stakeholders.
We think you will be a good match if you have some or all the following competencies:
