Are you passionate about sustainable finance and want to support the sustainability transition of Nordic businesses? And do you wish to be part of driving the development of Danske Bank’s sustainability offering for business customers across the Nordics? If yes, then we have an amazing opportunity for you!
We are currently looking for a colleague for our Sustainability team in Business Customers for a temporary position from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025. Your assignments will primarily include development of advisory tools, partnerships and products to support our business customers’ sustainability transition.
Support customers in their sustainability transition
You will work in a Nordic team responsible for sustainability advisory and development across our mid-corp customers as well as Agriculture and large Commercial Real Estate.
The role is temporary, but there will be plenty of opportunity to take on responsibility for different projects and initiatives, as well as becoming an integrated part of our team and wider organisation.
Our aspiration is to be one of the leading banks in the Nordics within sustainable finance by making ESG an integral part of our advisory and product offering as well as mature our market position across the Nordics.
Our work is primarily related to three areas:
Advisory
We deliver specialist advisory and support our relationship managers with training, sparring and tools. E.g. in the past year we have trained more than 800 colleagues in both general and sector specific ESG customer dialogue.
Products
We develop and drive existing and new products that support our customers’ sustainability transition. E.g. we are specialists within green financing and have a key role in how we finance our customers’ transition.
Partnerships
We develop and drive partnerships that support our customers’ sustainability transition. E.g. we have recently launched partnerships with climate tech comundo and energy consultancy Sweco across all four Nordic markets.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate with experience in sustainability, a solid enthusiasm for the area and the willpower to make a change.
Your profile:
- Minimum 1 year working experience with sustainable finance
- Solid understanding of bank and finance as well as business customers
- Preferably relevant Master/HD degree or equivalent years of experience
- Business development or project management experience and great stakeholder management skills
- You have a customer centric mindset and the ability to handle multiple goals and tasks simultaneously
- You are driven by execution and are motivated by delivering on the team’s ambition and plans
