Therefore, we are currently looking for an Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Engineer to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.
Team and Role
As an ATE engineer at Terma, you will be assigned projects focusing on new products and will be responsible for delivering a complete automated test for our production facility.
It is expected that you are strong in both hardware and software disciplines. All test hardware design is done inhouse, and we use external suppliers for mechanical design, production and wiring. We program test software in NI LabView, TestStand and Göpel Cascon.
Working with ATE, is a complete delivery, starting from a test specification to handling a complete set of test equipment for our production, as well as supporting and updating the Test Equipment used in our production facility in Lystrup. You will be guided and trained in our tools and processes, as well as introduced to our design guidelines.
The ATE department consists of 4 dedicated engineers. In the team we have a natural curiosity for leaning and improving our tests and our test platform. Ideas are bounced around in the office and we prioritize supporting colleagues as needed. The ATE work requires a certain degree of documentation, and we do internal/peer reviews on all documents before release.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Working within NI LabView and TestStand
- Focus on Boundary Scan and JTAG programming
- Applying Test Data Management - WATS
- Knowledge of ERP Systems
- Applying Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
- Working with Siemens Capital - Used for schematics and test cases
Qualifications
The key qualifications include:
- Solid knowledge within both hardware and software disciplines
- Experience with NI LabView and TestStand
- Experience with programming – preferable knowledge within JTAG
- Knowledge of Test Data Management
- Solid experience with ERP systems – preferable IFS
- Strong communication skills in English and preferably Danish
Required education/degree:
- Experience in test design to a BSc level, or a similar field of study
