Therefore, we are currently looking for a Project Manager to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.
Team and Role
Your daily work will take place in a Commercial, project-oriented environment, where you, as the project manager, will act as the link between your project’s internal and external stakeholders, such as Product Developers, Purchasers, Production Planners, Test Engineers, and most importantly, our customers.
You will generally be involved in the entire process, from the initial sales support to the final handover to the customer. The end customers are often large international clients, providing a dynamic work environment with a wide variety of tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely delivery of products that meet the high expectations of the customers. In addition to your duties as a Project Manager, you will also be expected to contribute to the department’s organizational development alongside the rest of the Project Management team and other department members.
As Project Manager you will also lead, motivate, and manage cross functional contributors and ensure they work cohesively and efficiently. Furthermore, you will provide direction and support to team members in a Matrix setup, as well as establish and maintain clear communication with various stakeholders.
Your workplace will be at Terma in the Program Excellence team in Lystrup or Søborg, with the possibility of working from home when compatible with your tasks. Our department is consisting of 13 Project Managers working across different business areas, we are working in a collaborative, dynamic, and informal environment.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Drive the Integrated logistic Support part of Danish Patrol Ships project from Terma point of view, as part of a program team and work closely together with external Project Managers and companies
- Ensure progress and clear visibility of the project and deliveries
- Escalate the activities in the right forums, and ensure decisions are pushed for and managed effectively
- Create an overview and control workforces on engineering level and managing your part of the budget
- Work across departments to ensure clear alignment
- As Project Manager you will work on Danish Patrol Ships, which is a major project for Terma
- The job will require that you a few times a month travel to either Søborg or Lystrup, depending on your location
Qualifications
The key qualifications include:
- Solid experience within project management
- Experience with working with many external stakeholders
- Experience regarding coordinating vendors and suppliers as needed
- Experience in handling ERP systems is an advantage
- Experience in having an overview of various projects as well as ensuring a timely delivery
Required education/degree:
- An education within Project Management or a similar field of study
Personal profile:
- To succeed you need to be able to show mandate and self-confidence
- It is essential to be self-driven and possess decision power
- You have strong project leadership skills
- You are an experienced and robust project manager that can cope with large customers
- You are proactive
