Core Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the LEGO Group Water strategy and targets across the full value chain, ensuring compliance with global standards and our internal goals and ambitions
- Work with implementation departments (Operations, Procurement, etc) to ensure adoption of strategy into actionable global roadmaps and guidance
- Develop and manage rollout of global water usage and testing guidance documents and ensure adaption across implementation departments
- Coordinate global data platform development and management for water metrics to ensure accurate reporting and accounting
- Deliver reports to Senior Leadership regarding global water program performance and accompanying metrics to ensure awareness of progress against targets.
- Collaborate with Sustainability Risk Manager to establish guidance and metrics for assessing water usage and scarcity for formation of site-specific risk profiles on a global scale

The Nature Impacts team sits within the core LEGO Group Sustainability department and defines the global strategies for Water, Waste, and Biodiversity across the value chain, as well as beneficial actions to carbon and nature that sit outside the value chain.
The Water Senior Manager will develop strategies and guidance for water use and reporting across the LEGO Group, following global standards and industry norms. The Water Senior Manager will ensure execution of strategies through collaboration with implementation departments and senior LEGO Group leadership.
Do you have what it takes?
- Environmental, Engineering or Business Management degree related to sustainability
- Training, certification or education in project- and/or change management
- Proven experience with managing sustainability strategies/projects in a global context
- In-depth understanding of corporate sustainability strategy and assessment building
- Understanding of water conversation techniques, knowledge of global standards and legislation around testing and usage, global manufacturing processes
- Strong communication skills, ability to develop professional communication material for senior leadership
- Strong ability to lead collaboration cross-functionally, including collaborators new to the subject matter
- References showing achieved results in an equivalent position
- Ability to travel a few times yearly i.e. to our factories.
