Share your knowledge on playground importance with the world
As our Playground Advisor, you will work with the world’s leading playground enterprise, KOMPAN, in close cooperation with our European and Middle East Market Directors and customers. You will give seminars and be consulted on the importance of playground play, all the way to the play equipment choice. You will advise based on scientific insight, research and relevant policies. The audiences will primarily be KOMPAN’s public and private customers, stakeholders and decision makers. These include national and city governments, schools, developers and architect offices.

You will be an important driver in meetings arranged by KOMPAN’s subsidiaries and agents with e.g. Policy Makers, Parc & Recreation, Education, Leisure, Housing, Charities, Companies and Architects, and you will give input to and help work on fundraising projects for playgrounds and fitness sites. This implies meetings at both policy level and concrete projects.

Your key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Assist in dialogues with key customers on the benefit of playgrounds and fitness sites and how best to organize them in communities or organizations.
• Assist in developing ideal playground solutions in specific customer projects. You will engage and cooperate with various stakeholders at all levels of the KOMPAN organization.
• Act as a 'trusted advisor' for stakeholders seeking advice and feedback, providing creative guidance and managing such relationships effectively.
• Create relevant insights for presentations and share these. You will be to working with the KOMPAN Play Institute existing presentation portfolio and help develop and enhance this.
• Help secure increased funding for and appropriate guidelines for spending on playgrounds and fitness sites through dialogue with key decisions makers on the societal benefits from playgrounds and physical activity.

The advisor superpowers we are looking for!
We are searching for an international profile with a scientific background in childhood studies, child psychology, sociology, culture, education or similar. If you also have knowledge about physical activity in general, it is an added benefit. You have a strong teaching and scientific research track record, but a career in commerce and making concrete impact appeals greatly to you.

What we value in your profile:

• Ability to engage participants when you present to diverse audiences, from janitors to mayors, emphasizing key research insights and recommendations
• Skills in producing precise and compelling presentations that bridge research with specific stakeholder needs
• Strong experience in evaluating information, identifying patterns and concluding meaningful insights to target relevant segments such as schools or parks
• Ability to compile, organize and interpret data from various sources

You are a strong communicator, and you thrive on sharing your knowledge with others. You are truly multi-lingual and master languages such as French, German and/or Spanish apart from English, fluently. As you work across Europe and the Middle East, you will have between 100-120 days of travelling per year. Therefore, you are based close to one of Europe’s major airports.
