Do you want to be part of it?
We are now hiring a (Senior) Account Manager who will be responsible for introducing and further developing Penneo's footprint in Norway. For this role, we’re open to different levels of experience, whether that’s as an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager – what matters most is that we both feel there’s a right fit.
You will report to our Director of Sales, Fredrik, and have our awesome Sales Department in Copenhagen as your closest collaborators.
The position is full-time, based in Oslo.
What would be your responsibilities?
For our (Senior) Account Manager, we foresee the following responsibilities, but you'll have the opportunity and freedom to influence and define them with us.
- Mapping and prospecting
- Conducting meetings with new customers and future ambassadors of Penneo
- Highlight the benefits of Penneo’s outstanding Sign and KYC solutions
- Creating and maintaining opportunity pipelines and running consistent account specific activities.

- Be fluent in Norwegian and English

- Display excellent planning, collaboration and presentation skills, including communicating complexity in simple terms
- Have min 3 years of experience in a B2B-sales position
- Experience with the audit & accounting industry is considered a plus
How will this role progress?
It is important to us to be as transparent as possible and to allow you to level expectations for the role. Therefore, we share our impact description in advance and would love your thoughts about it in your application.
During the 1st month, you will:
- Participate in Penneo’s onboarding program for all new Penneos.
- Get comfortable with the day-to-day operations of the Norwegian Sales Team.
- Understand the problems Penneo solves for customers.
- Participate in relevant customer meetings with people from your team.
Within 3 months, you will:
- Initiate and host your own customer meetings supported by your team.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the business value of Penneo’s solutions.
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Penneo’s services.
Within 6 months, you will:
- Be up and running and achieve 100% of your targets, as well as have established a solid foundation for reaching future targets.
- Regularly gather insights from the market and feed back information to the Norwegian Sales team and Marketing.
Within 12 months, you will:
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and deliver stellar customer experiences.
- Plan, develop and execute short- and long-term strategies to ensure Penneo’s success in our main markets.

About our interview process:
We know that going through a recruitment process can be pretty demanding sometimes, so we want you to know what to expect:
- Call with a member of our Talent Acquisition Team (~30m): introduction to the company, mutual initial expectation leveling.
- Call with Fredrik, our Director of Sales (~45m): Getting to know each other, assessing for mutual fit, introduction to the impact and goals for the position.
- Collaboration round (~1h): Together with two team members, you will discuss your approach to a problem scenario to assess collaboration fit and ways of working.
- The practicalities (~45m): Closing talk with Fredrik, our Director of Sales agreeing about compensation, starting date, and all other practical details.
All of our interviews can be conducted remotely, scheduled via email and Google Meet for audio/video calls if you prefer.
