Area Aftersales Manager – DESMI Aftersales & Service

To continue supporting the development of our aftersales business, we are seeking an Area Aftersales Manager. The position will report to the Head of Sales, Aftersales & Service and be based at our headquarters in Nørresundby.
As part of DESMI A/S’s growth strategy, DESMI Aftersales & Service has been established in order to further enhance and expand the aftersales business throughout the organization.
As our product portfolio grows in both size and complexity, we see significant potential in increasing the focus on proactive aftersales efforts, particularly within our BWMS products.
We are now looking for an Area Aftersales Manager to help realize this global potential alongside our current sales team.
The Position
Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing the market potential.
- Coordinating and executing aftersales efforts, focusing on direct sales as well as through our sales offices and distributors.
- Developing initiative-taking aftersales concepts for DESMI's full product portfolio, such as spare parts and service concepts, digitalization initiatives, particularly within our BWMS products etc.
- Preparing offers and entering agreements and contracts.
- Strengthening and expanding existing customer relationships.
- Tracking and achieving sales budgets in collaboration with the Head of Sales.
- Expected travel: 50+ days per year.
Your Profile
You have a commercial background with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, which gives you a natural drive and motivation to secure the next order.
You are also a solid collaborator—not only because you recognize that success comes from teamwork, but also because you will have extensive interaction across the DESMI organization.
Overall, you approach new tasks with a very hands-on attitude.
You have experience in the maritime service industry, where you excel at building new relationships and managing connections with our established clients. You understand that credibility and competence are key when selling service products, and that customers are also investing in your expertise along with the service products.
You thrive in a dynamic work environment with multiple tasks at hand and are not afraid to take on even more challenges.
You are proficient in English at a professional negotiation level, both written and spoken, and you are familiar with IT tools.
