The position
As Sr. HR Business Partner you will be the trusted advisor for the CVP of DCM (Device Component Manufacturing) and the CVP’s leadership team. In this role you will build solid relationships with the business, identify challenges and play a proactive role in helping the organisation to address them. You will be deeply involved in translating your area’s strategic priorities into relevant and impactful P&O actions, which sometimes will be known P&O activities – other times will require you to think outside of the box.
As HR Business Partner you build trustful relations with all leaders and work with them to foster an engaging and psychologically safe working environment, rooted in our values - the Novo Nordisk Way. Along with driving annual people processes, you will support leaders and their teams with guidance related to:
- Organisational development and effectiveness

- Talent management & development
- Culture and engagement
- Strategic workforce management
You will work closely together with an associate HR business partner colleague dedicated to support 1st and 2nd line leaders in the organisation. As a senior profile you will have an opportunity to take on a mentoring role for the ass. HR business partner ensuring that we continuously develop our own people in P&O.
You will be part of a broader P&O community across the larger production area (PSQIT) together with your HR Business Partner colleagues. The P&O Business Partnering community is an area within People and Organisation consisting of units that collaborate closely with the Global P&O Services and the P&O Centres of Excellences, to help bridge the global P&O community with the line of business. We act as strategic advisors to the business and play a pivotal role in supporting Novo Nordisk’ success providing guidance to our leaders and employees within our fields of expertise including but not limited to: Organisational Development & M&A, Health & Safety, People Relations & Compliance, Training & Capability Building as well as HR Business Partnering.
Qualifications
You are a strong and pragmatic executor with a can-do mindset. You are a person people want to work with, and who is respected by stakeholders because you drive things forward with high personal integrity. This allows you to offer challenging perspectives respectfully.
Ideally, you:
- Have at least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner / trusted advisor within an international and culturally diverse environment.
- Are able to think strategically and to translate business into HR actions, based on a thorough understanding of the challenges and future outlook.
- Are a team player, strong collaborator and curious about other people and their perspectives.
- Hold a relevant academic degree within HR, Organization, Business Psychology or similar.
- Have a knack for HR development and innovation that can be scaled and take it’s point of departure in business needs
- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
It is natural for you to bridge opinions, facilitate meetings with diverse perspectives and you find solutions that get people to collaborate.
About the Team
We are an international HR team of 10 experienced HR partners located in different sites in Denmark. We have P&O teams in Iran, Algeria, Russia and Japan summing up to 40 P&O colleagues in total. You will team up with the HR partners in Denmark, with whom you will share the responsibility for setting the P&O agenda in the FPM business area. You will be properly onboarded and receive the help you need to get a smooth transition into your role. You will be reporting to Sune Borg, HR Director for FPM P&O
About Device Component Manufactoring
Device Component Manufactoring, DCM, is part of a newly established SVP area called Finished Product Manufactoring. DCM excels in moulding, advanced assembling and metrology, and is the internal manufacturer of device components for Novo Nordisk.
Apart from that DCM have an important role to play when new products are introduced, new technology and equipment are implemented in our production. DCM ensures to operationalise and mitigate risks before implementing in the external network - making manufacturing more robust when delivering to the market. DCM ensures that it is possible to ramp up and scale production faster than even before.
DCM is divided into 5 business areas: Device Component Production, Device Metrology & Quality Control, NPI & Operational Excellence, Production Support and Business Support.
