Bang & Olufsen are seeking a training specialist to uplift our retail capabilities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland & Italy.
Our Training Managers are responsible for the overall education of all customer-facing employees in their region. This includes training across product knowledge, sales ceremony, brand knowledge as well as education for retail management.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all training activities for the allocated markets
- Support and educate the B&O Retail Partners by following our learning journey and delivering onboarding sessions, sales and sales refresher classroom training.
- Regular contact with top tier retail and distribution partners
- Conduct webinars, where classroom training is not possible or not reasonable.
- Involvement in local dealer meetings, inputting expertise into press events, product launches and similar activities.
- Participate in the local sales team meetings to translate their focus into ongoing training.
- Ensure the sales teams are knowledgeable of the current product portfolio.
- Keep the dealers fully trained on Beocampus – Bang & Olufsen´s E-Learning platform.
- Active involvement in redeveloping existing sales and product trainings to keep the material up to date and on highest standards.
- Encourage and contribute towards a positive attitude towards the brand, the products, and the organization throughout the region.
What you bring
We are seeking a trainer who has experience in developing and delivering training activity within a luxury retail environment.
Moreover, you bring:
- Over 3 years experience in adult teaching either soft skills and product skills
- Formal education in Training and Development, or similar
- High affinity for luxury products, and interesting the audio visual industry.
- Proven record of actively developing and implementing courses in the luxury industry.
- Experience in training for product launches.
- Proficiency user of Microsoft 365 package such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint etc.
- Comprehensive presentation skills. Experience presenting to groups through various media formats, PowerPoint, Flip Chart, online media etc.
- Expert communication skills, proactively contacting stakeholders, establishing professional relationships to people in all markets
- Continuous learning – keeping yourself updated regarding product knowledge and new training techniques
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Fluency in Germany is mandatory
- Fluency in Italian is an added advantage
What we offer
This role will be a part of the expanding global training team, consisting of 5 commercial training managers, 2 technical training managers and a digital team of four. We are based in 7 countries across Europe and are constantly in close contact through digital team meetings to make sure that we are aligned, motivated and on top of our tasks. With multiple physical meetings per year we maintain a positive team spirit and the close contact among colleagues.
