Senior or Lead Carbon Capture Business Developer

Ørsted

Join us in this role where you’ll work on the maturation of the Ørsted Bioenergy’s Carbon Capture project portfolio (CCS), which includes project opportunities across the CCS value chain from point source capture to CO2 infrastructure and storage to voluntary carbon market development. You’ll work with a skilled team in identifying, conceptualising, and developing opportunities within CCS, and play an integral role in further developing this business area.

Welcome to Bioenergy

You’ll be part of CCx where you, together with your colleagues, will further accelerate the development of Ørsted Bioenergy's CCS play and development of the Danish CCS industry. You’ll play an important role in:

· taking lead on the development of the carbon capture projects across the CCS portfolio

· gaining unique business, market, and regulatory understanding through conducting market analyses, communicating key findings and development of next steps

· driving the preparation and negotiation of commercial agreements

· supporting our engagement with key external stakeholders and partners incl. desk top screening of viable collaboration partners and off-takers to further accelerate our CCS business

· leading initial simulations of opportunities into viable business cases.

To succeed in the role, you:

· have a master's degree in economics, civil engineer or similar, and some years relevant work experience

· have experience in strategising and executing negotiations with strong sense of creating mutual value

· have a strong analytical and structured approach, enabling you to handle a range of complex tasks, a high learning agility, and a collaborative mindset with an eagerness to explore

· take initiative and draw intermediary conclusions based on available information and with focus on delivery of tasks

· are dynamic and have a strong sense of drive and can communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
