As a Product Owner, you will coordinate and drive the 2-stroke PLM initiatives across product lifecycle.
You’ll will play an important role in:
Strategic Initiatives
- Support the Digital Engine Lifecycle Strategy by aligning mid-to-long-term PLM ambitions with MAN ES’ overarching goals
- Develop and maintain a business product roadmap that reflects customer needs, market trends, and company goals.
Management of Business PLM project portfolio
- Drive the global coordination and prioritization of 2-stroke PLM business project portfolio
- Collect business pain points and digitalization initiatives, maintain central repository and dashboard, coordinate the pre-analysis until proof of concept or project launch.
- Drive PLM project scoping phase and lead together with Architecture and Services a portfolio of PLM proof of concept (PoC) projects
Collaboration and Internal customer engagement
- Serve as the primary ‘point-of-contact’ for PLM activities within engineering and business, represent their needs in front of supporting functions like IT and architecture & services and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration and visibility of the PLM initiatives across business.
Lessons learned and Optimization
- Collect feedback from business and identifying areas for improvement for future PLM solutions development.
- Map existing ways of working and propose improved workflows and processes
- Leverage external PLM network to bring best of Industry practices into MAN ES
We imagine that you have:
- A deep understanding of PLM systems, preferably ARAS, with a proven track record in managing PLM solutions.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in PLM and project management within an international company.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, with a deep understanding of PLM concepts, processes, and industry best practices, is essential.
- A blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and strong leadership skills to drive product innovation and ensure alignment with business goals.
- A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools is preferred.

We are a part of a unified Engineering Two-Stroke organisation with the clear ambition to reflect our role as the crankshaft of the MAN ES Engine lifecycle, responsible for the overall end-to-end processes covering the full engine lifecycle.
