About your future role
As a Design Lead at Nexi, you will be instrumental in shaping exceptional user experiences across our digital products and services. Working with leading eCommerce platforms across Europe, you will enhance payment orchestration, making transactions seamless and user-friendly for both shoppers and shop owners.
In this role, you’ll apply your expertise in user-centered design methodologies to create meaningful, cohesive end-to-end experiences that drive both customer satisfaction and business growth. With a focus on agile and collaborative execution, you'll bring innovative ideas from inception to execution, always putting the customer at the heart of everything we do. You'll collaborate with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, and specialists, to redefine B2B2C engagement and drive transformative outcomes in the financial services landscape.
Your future team and location
You’ll be part of a vibrant, collaborative team based at Vibenshuset in Copenhagen dedicated to exploring big questions and refining ways of working to drive customer-centric impact. Together, we combine diverse perspectives and expertise to elevate our eCommerce products and services, continuously adapting to meet the evolving needs of our users
Your key responsibilities
- Lead design strategy and related initiatives
- Drive design execution to ensure consistency and high standards
- Turn analytics and insights into impactful digital experiences
- Enhance user experience including accessibility and user engagement
- Foter a creative environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and excellence
Your day-to-day
- Partner with design, engineering, and product management to identify, shape, and prioritize
- Collaborate with leadership to determine design direction
- Prototype new user experiences, iterate on concepts, and create quality designs
- Adapt processes and tools, methods, and workflows to improve team efficiency
- Stay informed on design trends and best practices to keep us at the forefront
What makes you the best fit for this role?
We are looking for someone who is passionate about design and has a deep empathy for user needs. You should have a strong background in UX design, a collaborative and strategic mindset, and a drive to create exceptional experiences.
Qualifications you need to succeed
- 8+ years of experience in UX design, preferably with a focus on SaaS platforms, financial services, or eCommerce
- Proven track record in user-centered design and proficiency with design tools like Figma
- Thorough understanding of product design methodology and lifecycle across channels and platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal - to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Preferred skills and experience
- Experience with customer data and research to uncover insights and inform design decisions
- Skilled in storytelling and creating engaging visuals to communicate ideas (as well as deliveries)
- Basic understanding of e.g. HTML/CSS, Javascript, and libraries for effective collaboration with engineers
- Proactive mindset towards continuous learning and growth, individually and as part of a team
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and foster positive collaboration across teams and all levels
