Role overview
In this dynamic role, the Senior Business Analytics Specialist will be responsible for driving critical insights and supporting decision-making in transport and distribution volume forecasting and budgeting. The successful candidate will work closely with the TCT Finance Business Partner to enhance financial planning and budgeting processes and will play an important role in improving processes, data management, and reporting frameworks. Leveraging market and logistics knowledge, the Senior Business Analytics Specialist will collaborate daily with multiple stakeholders mainly positioned within the Transport Planning, Procurement, and Financial departments to optimize operations and align business objectives.
What you’ll be doing
- supporting ISC with budgeting and pricing; creating trends and gaps study in monthly perspective
- analyzing delivered volume in YTD and monthly perspective, compared to respective budget year (volume & price) and strategic tender
- preparing productivity report
- gathering and analyzing the volume forecasts from the markets to recognize and mitigate potential capacity risks
- analyzing the cost inefficiencies report (SPOT/ONCE-OFF/additional cost) and providing relevant mitigation plans
- preparing the reports on the spot to support the team’s activities
What we’re looking for
We are looking for a colleague who
- has worked in Supply Chain before, with a preference for candidates with experience in the transportation area,
- has a University degree (min. Bachelor’s degree), educational background in logistics would be an asset,
- has worked in, and enjoys working in a diverse, and international environment,
- demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively across various teams and departments;
- has a fluent command of written and spoken English,
- navigates easily in Office365 environment and has hands-on knowledge of MS Excel,
- is familiar with logistics, market trends, and operational dynamics,
- has hands-on experience in process improvement and data reporting,
- solid experience of managing and maintaining integrity of large volumes of data.
