This is your chance to join the Oxfam Denmark Humanitarian Response and Inclusive Peacebuilding Team in the spring semester of 2025
Oxfam Denmark works to promote humanitarian response, peacebuilding, as well as longer-term development in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. You will become part of our humanitarian and peacebuilding team working to ensure that vulnerable people of all genders, ages and diversities enjoy their rights, live in resilient and peaceful communities before, during, and after crisis and lead, shape and influence accountable and inclusive humanitarian and peacebuilding actions.

You will join a team of six dedicated colleagues. In addition, you will work with other Oxfam Denmark teams and get a chance to be part of a dedicated and inspiring global community. We are a member of Oxfam International. At any given time, Oxfam is responding to over 30 emergency situations. Oxfam is also a strong actor in humanitarian and peacebuilding advocacy work.

As our new intern you will

  • Support us in staying updated on relevant crises and displacement situations
  • Contribute with knowledge and inputs to specific humanitarian and peacebuilding interventions and focus areas
  • Contribute to reporting and knowledge management
  • Develop presentations and information papers.
  • Provide logistical, communication and administration support

Support during your internship
An internship supervisor in the team will accompany, support and guide you, and we will ensure strong professional monitoring of your learning and skills development.

Qualifications
You may be the right candidate for this internship, if you:

  • are undertaking a relevant higher education and have a strong interest in humanitarian and peacebuilding issues
  • have strong analytical skills
  • have excellent skills and experience in documentation and written communication. Good IT skills are an advantage
  • are fluent in English. French, Spanish, or Arabic is an advantage
  • are energetic, curious and able to work independently and as part of a team
