Senior Project Manager
For our ambitious and rapidly growing team in Copenhagen, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager. Within the newly established Project Management Office, you will be responsible for overseeing complex CAPEX projects related to ventilation, utilities, and clean room facilities at our production site in Copenhagen.
Your responsibilities will include developing projects from initiation through to validation and final handover. You will lead a project team comprising external consultants and internal users/SMEs, ensuring that all projects align with our strategic goals and timelines while proactively managing risks and stakeholder communications.
The Team and Department
The Project Management team is a crucial component of the Project Management Office, responsible for delivering strategic investment projects as outlined in our Site Master Plan. This requires effective coordination and execution of investment projects throughout the organization at the Copenhagen site, encompassing a variety of projects aimed at improving operations, utilities, laboratories, and office buildings. The team engages with end users and manages risks and issues, with the goal of ensuring successful project delivery, mitigating potential risks, and continuously enhancing project performance and collaboration across the organization.
The Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead an interdisciplinary project team on medium to large projects. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of project planning and execution, ensuring that progress, budgets, risks, and impacts are effectively monitored and reported.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Leading and managing the execution of interdisciplinary engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Overseeing the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, scope, and budget.
- Setting high standards for EHS and other legal compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Including efficient energy solutions and the right automation level in the early design phase of the projects.
- Providing regular updates and performance reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Being a team player, sharing best practices within the project management team, and contributing to an open and honest environment by sharing both positive and negative experiences.
- As part of the PMO take part in the developing tasks of
- Updating project management tools as needed.
- Take an active role in driving the masterplan process for the future development of the Copenhagen site.
Your Qualifications
- Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to manage and deliver complex investment projects, with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Subject Matter Expertise within ventilation, utilities design in GMP environment and classified areas.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate engineering strategy into future scenarios with high-level scope, economy, and layout.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication at all organizational levels, with the ability to present complex ideas and updates.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: A proactive approach to identifying issues and delivering solutions, coupled with sound decision-making abilities.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and partners.
