We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven bachelor’s or master’s student to join us as a Quality Assurance (QA) Intern, starting primo January 2025.
In QA, we want to support the FOSS mission by establishing a living Quality Management System as a fundamental element in FOSS to gain the most profitable and long-term reliable business. We work in close cooperation with main stakeholders, to ensure appropriate process orientation and knowledge is present in the organization. The QA Intern is part of the QA Team, but it is also important that individual learning and competence building are achieved.
The job
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic QA department, where the focus is on enhancing quality and information security awareness and elevating the level here at FOSS. We are committed to a data-driven approach, believing that it significantly boosts our chances of success. We are looking for someone like you to make a real impact.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the team with a new project about our Quality Management System. You will also help establish the configuration of the new system. To succeed in this internship, advanced data analyses skills in Excel are essential.
You will be fully integrated into our team of nine dedicated and motivated colleagues. Our department thrives on collaboration, and we believe in the power of working together. We care for one another and enjoy a good laugh, making it a great place to work. The position is based at the FOSS Innovation Center in Hillerød.
Primary tasks
- Be part of the project team for the new Quality Management System (QMS)
- Take a key part in the ongoing clean-up of our current QMS
- Support the project team with the configuration of the new system
- Support the organization in the use of the QMS and create awareness about the system in general
- Assist by preparing workshops
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in the role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Study for an academic degree in engineering, science, or similar
- Microsoft office skills
- Being data-driven and can turn data into insights
- Positive and active attitude towards challenges
- Fluent in written and spoken English skills
In addition, the following is considered an advantage:
- Project management skills
- LEAN experiences
- Knowledge of ISO standards (e.i.; ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001)

This is a full-time job, and you will get paid during your internship (IDA rate).
