The department
The Planning & Sourcing department is an integral part of the Welltec Product Center in Esbjerg. The department plays a central role and has a broad interface with internal production setups, including CNC machining, Welding, Testing, and Design & Engineering, as well as with Welltec's internal sales team. The department consists of four employees (including you) who share planning and purchasing tasks.

The primary purpose of the department is to break down requirements, plan, and purchase the components used in our production so we can deliver to our customers worldwide. The department offers numerous opportunities for those motivated by a challenging and multicultural environment.

The department ensures that our production in Esbjerg runs on time and guarantees on-time delivery for a variety of products within categories such as raw materials, finished third-party parts, gaskets, and other consumables. Most of our components are produced internally, but we utilize subcontractors when it makes the most sense. We (P&S) act as the main link between customers, production, and development, making us an essential part of our supply chain.

The position
The Planner position covers a wide range of tasks, from operational duties, such as planning our CNC and welding production in collaboration with the responsible team members, order creation, and more, to the administrative side, including maintenance and updates of master data in our ERP system, stock level maintenance, strategic long-term stock planning, supplier contact, and so on.

As our new production planner, you will primarily be responsible for planning our D&E projects, but there may occasionally be other projects for which you will also be responsible. You will have a varied workday and work closely with production and the rest of the team. The work environment is positive and lively, but it can sometimes be hectic and challenging due to the high volume of orders. Therefore, you should be able to thrive in an environment where priorities may change with short notice.

In your daily work, you will play an active role both within the department and equally towards the production departments. Therefore, it is important that you are comfortable in a dynamic environment. Primary Responsibilities:

• Demand planning, driven by specific sales orders for development projects
• Serve as our primary contact for D&E
• Creation and follow-up on ongoing production orders
• Reporting progress on the production plan

The candidate

We imagine that you have experience in a similar role, though this is not a requirement.

Additionally, we are looking for a colleague who:

• Adapts well to changes and can respond to shifting priorities
• Is service-oriented and quality-conscious
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
• Is a strong communicator who can see themselves working broadly across all functions
• Is structured, good at handling pressure, and able to navigate a busy work environment
• Is fluent in English (Danish is not required but is considered an advantage)

Planning and Sourcing ties all departments together while also communicating with Welltec's Sales Team about upcoming and ongoing orders, making communication in both Danish and English a significant part of the day-to-day.
