Meet the The Securities Finance & Structured Products Sales team.
We are responsible for originating, structuring and executing market leading securities finance deals and structured products to a broad range of professional clients such as investment companies, hedge funds and family offices across the Nordics and beyond.
In the role you will become an integral part of the team, gaining unparalleled exposure to Nordea’s trading floor through hands-on experience with complex financing structures, securities lending and various equity and credit derivative products. You will learn from and assist experienced colleagues, working closely with our clients to provide first-class capital market products. What you’ll be doing
As our new Analyst you will assist senior colleagues in day-to-day operations, support client relationships, help prepare client presentations, analyse market opportunities and help structure tailored financing solutions for professional clients across the Nordics. Over time, you will expand your knowledge of our structured, equity and credit derivative product offerings.
You will proactively promote our products, identify new market opportunities and build a solid network to increase confidence and visibility in our offerings. Additionally, you will manage information flow and collaborate with stakeholders on projects and client engagements to build trust and confidence in our team’s capabilities.
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Support senior colleagues in day-to-day operational matters related to clients
- Analyse market opportunities, help structure deals and build client pitches
- Develop expertise in securities finance, equity/credit derivatives, and structured products
- Drive internal and external promotion of our products
- Collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders
Who you are
This is the right role for you are a curious and highly motivated problem solver with a genuine interest in financial markets and products with a high analytical capacity. We expect our new colleague to be self-driven and have an eagerness to learn.
For the successful candidate, background and skills include:
- Graduating in 2025 with a master’s degree within relevant field such as finance, economics or other technical degree with excellent academic credentials from a top-tier university
- Alternatively, candidates with maximum two years’ work experience post-graduation from university will be considered as well
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Fluent in Danish and English
