Are you open to a maternity cover position where you can make an impact as Production Engineer in our Quality Control (QC) transformation project? If so, apply today for a life-changing career where you will be joining our production site in Hjørring called Needle Manufacturing!

The position
At Novo Nordisk we take the greatest care to deliver the same quality product to our patients every time and every day. To do so, we are using standard operating procedures for all our processes and thoroughly release testing our products before they end up in the hands of the patients.

To support the increasing demands of our products, we are currently working on a project to transform our QC laboratory in Hjørring and changing the very way we are handling data with the implementation of a LIMS system. We are on the lookout for a maternity cover for our highly skilled Production Engineers with a good understanding of quality and “the power of teamwork”, to support this project.

Your main accountabilities will be:

  • Ensuring compliance with GxP while maintaining progress on our ongoing Quality Control (QC) transformation project with focus on implementation of our LIMS system – helping QC go digital.
  • Setting the direction to ensure a scientific and risk-based approach to validation, maintenance and implementation.
  • Training and supporting the end-users in the LIMS system.
  • Driving minor improvement processes in the team and its areas of responsibility.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with highly skilled stakeholders such as operators, specialists, supporters, technicians and managers - across the organisation and on multiple management levels.

Qualifications
Your experiences include:

  • An academic degree as an engineer, pharmacist or another technical/nature scientific background.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or the laboratory field.
  • Experience with LIMS systems or other relevant low-code/no-code systems like PowerBI is desirable.
  • Project management/coordination.
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
  • Fluency in Danish & English.

On a personal level you have the capacity to create changes, set direction and independently drive cross-functional work. You see yourself as being proactive, have a structured approach to problem-solving and thrive in a production environment driven by quality, many deadlines and shifting priorities. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills, enjoy sparring with stakeholders at all levels and the ability to communicate complex matters with simplicity and a constructive argument.

About the Department
You will be part of the QC, Planning, Warehouse & Facility department, specifically in our QC support team, but with allocation in our ongoing QC transformation project. The QC support team of 13 great colleagues, consists of a mix of academics and skilled workers supporting our current QC laboratory and the future QC setup.
