The job is based in Copenhagen, starting 1 July 2025, and designed to kick-start your career within the Markets area.
About our team
Meet the Securities Finance, Structured & Equity Trading team. We are a broad team consisting of several trading desks covering equities, structured trading, credits and rates. In our team you get a unique opportunity to work with professionals trading everything from structured products, listed derivatives, credits and rates, to secured financing transactions including stock borrowing and lending. You will get hands-on experience in market making, pricing, structuring and executing many different equity, fixed income, credit and commodity-based derivatives. You will work in teams responsible for quoting and trading cash products. Additionally, this role offers learning in how to efficiently structure secured financing transactions – a key tool for leverage. The trading team is based in Copenhagen but has international coverage with clients and counterparties in Nordics, Europe, North America and Asia.

What you’ll be doing
Main responsibilities in this role:
- You will deal with clients and international banks.
- You will be part of enhancing and automating the trading activities.
- You will be involved in quoting instruments, managing risk positions, analysing the market and listing new instruments.
- You will rotate within and learn from all the different trading desks.
- You will be part of a motivated and engaging team in which we appreciate our individual values and qualities that help us shape our team.
Who you are
We are looking for a curious and highly motivated team player with a positive can-do attitude and a high level of commitment and passion for the securities market. Responsibility, attention to detail and thriving in a fast-paced environment are all key qualities for a candidate in this role. You will benefit from having great interpersonal skills and if you find it easy to build relationships.
Your background and skills include:
- Maximum two years’ work experience post-graduation from university.
- Master’s degree in finance, economics, industrial engineering, management or similar.
- Excellent English skills, both spoken and written – knowledge of a Scandinavian language is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Programming knowledge and excellent knowledge of Excel and VBA is an advantage.
