About the project and being in ERM
Join our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team in a key project that is one of the most crucial undertakings for Danske Bank in the coming years. Our mission is clear: to develop and validate the banks new models for managing Credit Risk that are used in the core business process of the bank, aligning with stringent regulatory requirements. This task is critical as these models require approval from the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (DFSA).
The journey includes validation by our Model Risk Management (MRM) team, scrutiny by Group Internal Audit (GIA), and a final review by DFSA, setting the stage for a complex yet rewarding project environment. Internally we refer to the program as the CAT Validation program (CAT stands for Credit Analytics Transformation).
About the Role
In this role, you will have an important part in scaling our operations to meet the demands of the upcoming years. Anticipating the requirements of 2025 and 2026, we rely on your knowledge to keep our team advanced in the fields of risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for key issues and risks, including timelines, quality, and personnel challenges, facilitating resolution by engaging appropriate decision-making forums.
- Maintain a comprehensive project risk log, proactively identifying issues and taking ownership to ensure early problem identification and resolution.
- Consistently provide a realistic and accurate view of the CAT validation project's status to key stakeholders, focusing on timelines and critical issues.
- Develop and ensure timely preparation of high-quality reports for senior forums, reflecting a 'true and fair' view of project progress and opportunities.
