As an Audiologist at GN, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer.

We are a group of 7 skilled audiologists and an equally skilled acoustical engineer, enjoying the opportunity to learn from each other and our colleagues from other areas. We have access to quality test facilities, and we see the results of our work in the products.
We are specialized in everything related to audiology, hearing products, hearing aid users, and hearing aid fitters. The customer satisfaction is essential for us. We are proud of our work and the fact that we are part of launching user-centric new products on a regular basis.
At our office located in Ballerup, Denmark, you will be part of the Global Audiology Organization in Development Center Hearing and report directly to our Director of Global Audiology Development, Charlotte Thunberg Jespersen. In addition to working alongside your colleagues at our Danish headquarter, you will collaborate with our development colleagues in Chicago and Xiamen.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
- Evaluate all aspects of hearing aids, fitting software, apps, and accessories.
- Perform testing related to hearing, verify and validate hearing aid features e.g. test box measurements, hearing aid fitting e.g. real ear measurements, and evaluate end user benefit consistent with best practices.
- Design testing for a product program by writing a test plan and working with other audiologists running test subjects to ensure high quality data collection using best practices.
- Design, conduct, perform data analysis and report on test.
- Collaborate on design, data analysis and publication.
- Collaborate with product development, product management and the sales & marketing teams to identify user needs and opportunities.
We imagine that you bring the following:
- Master level in Audiology or Au.D degree
- Solid clinical experience from public or private clinic or from a similar position.
- Proficient communication skills, in both Danish and English – written and spoken, as you will be phoneme scoring in Danish speech in noise testing tests.
- Experienced in hearing aid fittings, pairing with apps and accessories.
- Experienced in test box measurements, real ear measurements, sound quality evaluations, listening fatigue testing, and speech in noise testing.
- Knowledgeable about aspects of hearing aids including all algorithms, hearing aid apps, hearing aid accessories and fitting software e.g. can explain and teach these using own words.
- Has industry understanding and experience with hearing products from other manufacturers.
- Articulates differences between hearing products from various manufacturers. Understands signal processing in various manufacturer’s hearing aids. Articulates the advantages and disadvantages of various products.
- Experienced in writing research papers and trade journal articles e.g. writes articles with minor internal support or is willing to do so.
- Proficient interpersonal skills, to be able to have meaningful interactions with stakeholders from different profiles and backgrounds.
