Senior Project Manager - Palsgaard

Do you have solid experience as a Senior Project Manager within process industries, and are you eager to play a key role in expanding our production capacity at Palsgaard? If so, you might be our new Senior Project Manager.
At Palsgaard, we have an ambitious growth strategy to double our production capacity, and as our new Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for installation and commissioning of our new emulsifier factory with a total budget exceeding 250 million DKK.

It is essential for this position that you have experience and knowledge of process, chemical, or food industries and a solid understanding of the workflows and operations within a process-driven company.

In this role, you will hold overall responsibility for the successful execution of CAPEX projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic priorities. You will lead the process from start to finish, overseeing project managers and stakeholders, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams to achieve project goals.

The position is located at Palsgaard HQ in Juelsminde with reference to our Chief Project Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Project management of large CAPEX projects > DKK 250.000.000
• Develop the objectives and scope of the projects, involving all stakeholders
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Ensure the availability and allocation of resources, in coordination with manager
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the execution of projects
• Manage the relationship with the customer (Site Director) and all stakeholders
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within the allocated budgets
• Ensure that project data is available, consolidated and secure
• Actively participate in the development of project management best practices

What do you need to apply?

The position requires that you have a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a similar role within a process, chemical, or food industry combined with a comprehensive understanding of the workflows, operations and challenges within a process-driven company.

A technical background, such as engineering or a related field, is preferred and additionally, having completed a formal Project Management education is considered a strong advantage.

You have a broad knowledge of construction and technical installations as well as experience with performance testing and commissioning. You have experience in planning, designing and executing chemical production facilities, laboratories, dairies, breweries or similar technically heavy buildings with strict requirements for cleanliness and hygiene.

You work independently and structured and show initiative and vigor, while you thrive in an informal and interdisciplinary environment where you are responsible for gathering the threads and it is essential to have strong collaborative skills, enabling you to work effectively across diverse teams and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, often managing differing viewpoints. While independence in handling your tasks is important, success also requires the ability to foster cooperation and align efforts within Palsgaard.

A strong knowledge of project management methodologies and technical disciplines, including installation and commissioning is essential. Proficiency in MS Office is required, and you must be fluent in both Danish and English.
