Your position
In your new position as Senior Network Engineer in the Technology Solutions division, you will join a multicultural, diverse team of skilled, enthusiastic telecommunication specialists from all over the world. Together with your dedicated colleagues, you will create, design and develop critical communication systems for the offshore energy industry. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector.
Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 10 days per year.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will design and engineer state-of-the-art network solutions, closely integrated with several other telecom/operational systems. Each project is tailored to meet the unique requirements of our clients, providing you with the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge, customized solutions.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Designing and engineering different telecommunication solutions for our clients, which could include network design, TETRA, Line-of-Sight radios etc., but with main focus on network aspects.
- Participate in designing overall network architecture in accordance with common OT-security practise.
- Outline detail design specification for network to be used for actual implementation.
- Participate in interface design to other systems.
- Verify configurations and equipment in preparation for Factory Acceptance Tests.
- Do minor changes to configurations.
- Following up on subcontractors’ designs, securing technical requirements and interface management.
- Supporting and interacting with subcontractors, customers and other teams across the organisation, such as Telecom Service and the Tender team.
Your profile & qualifications
You are a detail-oriented and structured engineer with a curious and analytical mindset. In addition, you have a proactive and organised approach to your work and thrive in a workday with lots of variation and teamwork.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years’ experience configuring and designing different network systems.
- A good understanding of the various techniques within network – both physically and logically.
- Knowledge of various OT-security standards and practices like Purdue layered model, IEC62443 or similar.
- A degree in electronic, telecommunications, network engineering or similar.
- Fluency in English, verbal and written.
- Experience with the offshore energy industry.
- Having a wide telecommunication experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Good technical writing skills.
- Good analytical skills
- Be a project minded person
