The Team
We are the Advanced Bioenergy Fund Investment Team, and we are looking for you - our new team member who will join us on our mission to make a true and tangible impact on the global challenge of climate change.
The Advanced Bioenergy Fund contributes to decarbonizing sectors such as industry, maritime shipping, and agriculture. We achieve that by investing in circular solutions that convert organic waste products into sustainable green gas, fuels and fertilizers.

The Role
Based in Copenhagen, you will join a highly motivated international group of best-in-class colleagues with extensive experience in investments in energy and infrastructure assets. You will contribute to the development, structuring and execution of CIP’s infrastructure investments globally with a focus on investments in advanced bioenergy.
Your responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:
- Providing detailed analytics with a focus on the investments’ value creation
- Delivering high quality reporting to CIP’s senior management and investors on the investments’ performance
- Preparing material for decision making on senior management level
- Working closely with the senior management in the Investment Management team
- Financial modelling, valuation and structuring of investments
- Market analysis and due diligence of new investment opportunities
- Visualization and presentation of technical and financial data to stakeholders
- Working together with industrial partners and advisors
You
The work environment at CIP is innovative, stimulating, global and demanding. We are therefore looking for a motivated, collaborative, and analytical professional holding a relevant master’s degree within Economics, Finance or other related fields and having 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Key qualifications include:
- High academic performance and strong analytical skills
- Previous work experience in investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, strategy is advantageous
- Strong work-ethics with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Advanced English skills; multiple languages is always a beneficial asset
- Thriving with responsibility and displaying attention to detail
- Curious and creative mindset
