About the job
As Procurement Supply Manager, you will act as the primary local contact for Category Managers and stakeholders across Carlsberg Denmark. In this role, you will ensure the efficient procurement of raw materials and packaging, supporting the production flow and promoting local initiatives to optimize costs and supplier performance.

Based in Fredericia, you will work closely with the VP Supply Chain and collaborate with regional procurement teams to align on category strategies and to ensure local implementation. Your contributions are essential for the smooth and efficient operation of Carlsberg's supply chain.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Serve as the first point of contact for local stakeholders regarding direct materials procurement, ensuring constant production flow without any interruptions due to lack of services, material quality or availability issues, directly as a first step and with category teams when necessary.

• Drive and own excellence in supplier relationship as local first point of contact with supplier. This includes supplier on-boarding, supplier changes and change plans, supplier rating including quality performance and improvement areas in close collaboration with local functions and regional procurement teams.

• Spearhead cost reduction efforts through the implementation of regional initiatives in line with overarching category plans, pinpointing potential areas for cost improvements, and act as escalation step in the administration of contracts.

• Collaborate with local teams to coordinate service claims and support new product development (NPD) processes.

• Provide regular financial updates to local teams on price movements, value projects, and procurement strategies.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contract governance, and sustainability initiatives.

Your qualifications and experience

Those who excel in this position typically demonstrate:

• A higher theoretical and commercial background, equivalent to a tertiary degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in tactical and operational procurement, preferably within an international or regional setting.

• Proven skills in supplier relationship management, contract execution, and cost optimization.

• Strong capabilities in data analysis and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

• Fluency in both Danish and English (spoken and written).
