In the job you will be responsible for ensuring that the Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment, QHSE, operational processes and supporting documents are functional, effective and efficient. You will collaborate with process owners and specialists in the business to identify gaps, harmonise processes, reduce duplication, and ensure that handoffs between processes are complete and accurate. You will also contribute to the development of a harmonised and efficient business process management for the whole business.
As QHSE Process Excellence Specialist you will report to the QHSE Excellence Lead within the Operational Standards team, and is part of the People, Culture and Standards staff functions within Business Area Wind.
Your key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with process owners and specialists in the business to ensure that the operational, Integrated Management System for QHSE is developed and maintained in a coordinated, effective and efficient way.
- Collaborate with other Process Excellence roles to ensure that the total QHSE process landscape is cohesive and harmonised, and that all value streams work together seamlessly.
- Support the QHSE operational standards team to ensure that processes are developed in compliance with the BA Wind Process Framework, and that all Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements are met.
- Actively support and represent Operational QHSE in the improvement project to move into an integrated BA Wind process landscape.
- Support the development of Process Performance Indicators (PPI) and conduct performance evaluations for the QHSE processes
- Together with the Operational Standards team and the IMS team, use performance and compliance data to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement activities that optimise stakeholder value and increase overall business performance.

- Industry bodies (e.g. ISO and Energy Institute)
- Other wind and/or renewables developers
Your profile
Your profile
You will feel comfortable quickly in this position if you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Operations Management, Quality Management, Engineering, or Business Administration, or equivalent industry experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in process improvement, process design, and process implementation.
- Knowledge of management systems standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and ISO 45001 and the integration of these standards.
- Knowledge of process modelling using OMG BPMN 2.0 standard is a benefit.
- Lean Six Sigma or similar industry recognised qualification in process excellence or quality management is a benefit.
- Ability to work collaboratively, including in a facilitator capacity, with cross-functional teams and to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Location
The team is organised internationally; the colleagues are located across all our core operating countries in the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, UK and Sweden. Therefore it is possible to join the team in our offices in Amsterdam, Kolding, Hamburg, Berlin, London or Stockholm.
