The Position
In this position, you will be a part of the central tablet support for productions across the Novo Nordisk production sites on a international scale. You will drive or be a part of improvements and optimization projects with a focus on the cleaning and sanitation of manufacturing equipment. You will support technical challenges related to cleaning processes for equipment such as blenders, dry granulators, tablet machines, and in-process control equipment.
Main responsibilities will include to:
- Drive optimization of cleaning processes (Life Cycle Management) and approved procedures
- Provide support to productions in terms of validation strategies and in critical situations and contribute insights from production to influence new designs and process innovations.
- Be involved in the design and implementation of new equipment and new technologies (e.g. process analytical technologies (PAT) for cleaning processes).
- Use data and analytical skills to evaluate processes and find the best solutions.
- Use your experience from other production environments to improve cleaning processes, efficiency, output, and cost
By evaluating cleaning processes, you will have the chance to revolutionize manufacturing output, refine cleaning processes and utilize small scale lab studies.
This role involves a wide stakeholder landscape, within which you will steer projects and collaborate with teams across the organization; you'll forge strong relationships with colleagues across Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs.
Qualifications
We are looking for a colleague with a combination of process understanding and product quality awareness.
To succeed in this role, you:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, pharmaceutical science, or a related field
- Have several years of proven track experience with cleaning validation principles
- Have extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Are fully proficient in English
It will be seen as an advantage if you have experience with cleaning process optimization, change management and a project focused approach.
On a personal level, you are a collaborative, structured individual, adept at prioritizing and decisively leading projects. You envision yourself as a team player who thrives in multi-disciplinary environments.
About the department
Join our Manufacturing Science and Technology - Life Cycle Management, a department of ~60 dedicated professionals committed to keeping our products at the forefront of the market. Our expanding portfolio includes treatments for Hormone Replacement Therapy, diabetes, and obesity. We pride ourselves on our agile approach to exciting and varied tasks in a key sector of Novo Nordisk. You will join the Raw Materials, Equipment, & Cleaning team.
We are a fairly new established team and we are growing with a focus on creating a vibrant and engaging culture.
