Lead Finance Business Partner for our Defence Business Unit

You will act as a proactive business partner and CFO within the business unit
The Defence business unit is our largest business unit and its international footprint is growing and expanding currently. We deliver top quality IT solutions that are used in more than 40 countries worldwide. The finance team in Systematic is built on an Accounting team, a Performance Management team and our Finance Business Partners, where the latter each engage with a business unit as overall finance responsible for the area.

You will be responsible for all financial and performance reporting of the business unit as well as driving ad hoc deep dives and sparring and taking lead on business cases and project calculations for the business unit. You share our frontline passion for our customers, you have a natural strong and proactive drive and you think simplicity and forward-thinking in everything you do.

Your tasks will include:

• Securing our financial foundation through forecast accuracy and stability while engaging as a proactive finance business partner and CFO within the Defence BU
• Financial reporting incl. in depth understanding of figures and performance
• Forecasting and budgeting owner and finance lead for our Defence business unit
• Responsible for Defence BU performance management, driving the process and coordinating with relevant KPI owners
• Participation and lead in the business unit strategy process (development and ongoing follow-up)
• Provide solid analysis and recommendations: Perform financial analysis to highlight and deep dive on critical topics to enable optimization and decision making
• Business cases and project calculations. Safeguarding, leading and acting as liaison: Own our business unit project calculation process and ensure accuracy between commitment and execution
• Drive and secure financial optimization in the business unit
• Member of Finance Management Team and Defence management team

Experienced Manager with business understanding and personal drive
Ideally, you have a master’s degree in Business Administration/Finance or other similar education and several years of experience in a similar position with a wide range of tasks. Supported by your solid experience, you understand the importance of setting the direction for your function while being able to execute a wide range of hands-on tasks.

It is an advantage if you have experience of working in an international company, but it is not a requirement. In addition, high proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis in general is key for success. You are fluent in Business English both verbally and in writing.
