GreenCarLane Remote Internship
Salary Unpaid
We are looking for a driven, motivated and proactive team member who is a critical thinker, has creative skills, is curious and can figure things out when an idea is suggested without much guidance.
We expect the internship to be around 6 months and work hours per week around 20.
Join an international SaaS startup with global expansion and growth ambitions, helping to reduce carbon emissions in transportation.
We are a growing, diverse, and international team focused on doing our part in reducing the exacerbation of carbon dioxide emissions from passenger cars. We do this by nudging consumers to buy electric vehicles (EVs) and we collaborate with businesses as well as governments to support consumers in entering the market for EVs.
The team is developing a digital marketplace where consumers can learn about EVs and get help throughout their purchase journey to acquire a car. We are passionate and working hard to strengthen the development of the platform and are proud of the outcome so far.
We're looking for an intern to further progress the endeavor.
We provide a B2C and B2B marketplace platform (SaaS) in the automobile industry, focusing on hybrid- and electric cars. We also partner with B2G for charging infrastructure. You don't have to be knowledgeable in the automotive industry but excellent at the UX/UI part, asking questions, doing discoveries, being curious for answers and solutions, and being creative.
No need to be experienced or knowledgeable in the automotive sector, you need to be an excellent creator, proficient in design methodologies and tools, knowledgeable with Product Led Growth (PLG), and a wizard at wireframing as well as mockup development and understand why developers can't code your design (too creative).
We are looking for the right candidate to help us further develop our platform with great UX and UI.
Expectations
- Analytical, critical thinker to research for product development
- Not shy to come up with suggestions and low-fidelity wireframes - a workaround - when just a few words are tossed in the air or an idea for a feature is mentioned.
- Ability to ask questions and investigate further to use the insight in your UX/UI design work.
- Strong skills in UX and UI.
- Strong in using Figma, e.g. designing components.
- Ability to empathize with users.
- Experience with designing web - and potentially mobile apps (a plus but not a must)
- A good design intuition on what works in practice
- Ability to handle a dynamic position with varied tasks and responsibilities
When joining you are empowered to learn, lead and perform at your best, shaping the future of our company. We have a team and looking to add an additional member.
This is a place where you're welcomed as your own perfectly unique self and celebrated for the skills, talent, curiousness, problem-solving, perspective, solution-finding, and honest opinion you bring to the table.
If you are an introvert or someone who doesn't handle large groups that easily, there is room for you here. We believe that diverse, inclusive teams drive innovation, performance, and excellence.
We provide equal opportunities without regard to race, color, gender, sexual orientation, transgender status, gender identity and/or expression, marital status, pregnancy, parental status, religion, political opinion, nationality, ethnic background, social origin, social status, indigenous status, disability, age.
