Research and Teaching
The main tasks of a postdoc are research and research-based teaching, including assessment and examines.
Description of tasks
- Teach effective patient communication with an emphasis on mindful and compassionate communication skills to pre- and postgraduate learners
- Share best evidence and practices in teaching patient communication with an emphasis on mindful and compassionate communication skills
- Contribute to research on developing interventions to promote person-centred communication
- Conduct research on how to best support the implementation of successful communication interventions in clinical practice
- Assist in securing external funding
Expectation of qualifications
- Ph.D. in Health Sciences
- Proficiency in teaching patient communication with an emphasis on mindful and compassionate communication skills
- Knowledge on implementation science and the successful implementation of complex interventions in the healthcare system
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in training in Danish and English language
- Project management skills
The applicant who is hired must have a Ph.D.-degree and documented research experience.

Salary and terms of employment
The successful applicant will be employed in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations).
