Core Responsibilities
You will lead a team of 8 Quality Specialists, managing quality in the development of LEGO® innovation products and ensure CTQ Critical to quality. You will set the direction for building capabilities, including forming a strong core team and developing capabilities in related functional areas. More specifically you will be responsible for:
- High-risk project portfolio within engineering and innovation initiatives, ensuring that resources are deployed effectively to support software quality, hardware reliability, and technical feasibility across projects
- Establishing a plan to continually improve quality skills in software development and testing for high-risk New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, while following industry standards.
- Building proficiencies in the team to ensure the combination of strong leadership, collaborating, and quality specialist skills
- Developing and sharing advanced quality assurance capabilities. Innovation and "system building" capabilities are still growing in the LEGO Group
- Building and supporting quality assurance activities and processes across our value chain by bridging consumer, development and production
- Mitigating and handling project risk profiles
- Engaging in Product and Technology project by ensuring a clear data driven overview of quality performance and risk related to the product experience and technology capability building

You will join the Quality in Development team in Billund reporting to our Senior Quality Director.
We proactively assure high quality LEGO Play experiences, amplifying the voice of the consumer in development of Products and Technology!
Our focus is, with a strong cross functional collaboration, data driven and comprehensive design thinking approach, creating desirability, reliability, durability and feasibility through preventive and efficient quality assurance process.
Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years leadership experience, leading specialists in the electronics industry and with the ability to develop the team’s expertise in both hardware and software quality assurance, prioritizing the combination of leadership, collaboration, and technical proficiency.
You have strong collaboration, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. With your positive attitude and empowerment, you secure motivation and high happiness within your team. Moreover, we expect:
- 5-10 years of experience in Quality engineering, Technical Design, Project Management, Product Development, and/or Technology development in mechatronic product areas, preferably from a larger global company
- A strong background in working in complex multi-functional partner dynamics – Product groups, Technology Engineering, Manufacturing and other internal partners
- Ability converting play experiences into data-driven verification and validation
- Six Sigma, APQP, DFX or equivalent experience
- Experiences with implementing requirement and test management tools
- Proven track record in Risk management & Technology management on strategic levels
- Proficiency in English
- This role will be based in Denmark, with up to 20 days of travel a year
