We are searching for an Infrastructure specialist

For this role, we are looking for someone to join Nykredit – one of the banks BEC Poland works closely with.

Nykredit is both a bank and a mortgage provider owned by an association of customers. Being customer-owned, they are in a unique position to give something back to their customers when they are doing well. Together they can simply do more for their customers and for society.

This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw and you will join Buyside Platform & Operations team . You will be responsible for ensuring that our IT platforms function optimally for business and functional areas in Wealth and Treasury, as well as other teams in Wealth Technology.

At Nykredit, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to eight days per month. Your direct manager will be Thomas Skou.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

  • Administering and maintaining of Windows-based systems and applications, including the operation and development of the infrastructure in a Microsoft environment
  • Managing and participating in system upgrades, server migrations, and patching
  • Ensuring stability and system performance on networks, servers, and databases, where understanding the connection between server and network infrastructure is key
  • Providing technical support and complex troubleshooting, including process automation and performance tuning using relevant tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell)
  • Participating in various projects focused on improving and implementing new technologies.

To succeed you will have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure
  • Higher education degree
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and infrastructure integration
  • Application and system implementation experience
  • Knowledge of Citrix, SQL, and Oracle databases.
  • Fluent English
  • Experience in Infrastructure on the SimCorp Dimension platform (nice to have)
