The position
As a Senior Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for continuously developing and driving Portfolio Management across three Areas. You will work closely together with other Portfolio Managers from other areas as well as leaders and project managers across our three areas. Our projects are within the areas of our Filling Lines in Novo Nordisk and can be improvement, compliance, drug product, product transfer and CMO projects.

Your primary tasks will include:

• Responsibility for the management of the Project Portfolio via the Project Management system (MS PowerPPM) including our project inflow process and a clear prioritization in/across the areas
• Responsible for preparation of decisions and reporting to management based on data in MS PowerPPM. This includes driving our Area Portfolio meetings and ensuring that the needed PowerBI reports are set-up via our Digital Team
• Responsible for resource capacity management both short and long-term including efficient resource allocation process via MS Team Planner.
• Collaboration with stakeholders regarding Portfolio and Project Management driving continuous improvement and competency development
• Provide support to Project Managers via our team of Champions

As Senior Portfolio Manager in our area, you will also be cooperating with colleagues from different cultures, with different areas of expertise and at different organizational levels. You will be working out of Bagsværd, Denmark.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who can inspire and energize their surroundings, establish clear and ambitious goals, and work closely together with project managers, leaders, and other stakeholders. Our ideal candidate is good at building relations, has strong interpersonal skills and can navigate in a complex stakeholder landscape.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

• BSc, MSC Degree or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience as Portfolio Manager
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Professional proficiency in English

Additionally, you have a high integrity and resilience that enables you to incorporate different views in the decision-making process as well as challenge the existing status quo.

About the department
Manufacturing Science & Transfer, New Product Introduction and Product Life Cycle Management are three areas under Aseptic Manufacturing Science & Technology (AMSAT) consisting of approx. 400 employees. The areas provide process and product support to our manufacturing network, are responsible for introduction of new drug products and drug product Life Cycle management and drives global improvement projects of diverse complexity. A high level of product knowledge and process understanding is anchored in the three areas.

As our Senior Portfolio Manager, you will be a part of the Project- and Portfolio Management department within Product Life Cycle Management that consists of Project Managers.
