Apply for this job On behalf of Stena RoRo, Stena Marine Management is looking for a Master for our Cyprus flagged RoPAX vessel operating in Spanish waters.
The right candidate should have a wide variety of experience from RoRo and RoPAX vessels, hereof minimum 5 years serving as Master. You must be fluent in Spanish and English, and able to obtain Spanish PEC.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the company on board. Focus on communication between vessel and shore management.
- Drive and foster a strong safety culture on board our vessels.
- Responsible for operation of our vessels in line with both company and legal requirements, with regards to standard of safety and operational criteria.
- Responsible for delivering high vessel budgetary performance.
- Promote effective shipboard management functions on board between all departments.
- Review ship performance against customer requirements.
- Support HR department with regard to rostering and well-being of seafarers.
- Overall responsible for keeping vessel maintained to owners standard.

- STCW Elementary First Aid
- STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
- STCW Personal Survival Techniques
- STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats
- STCW Seafarers with Designated Security Duties
- STCW Incident Investigation

Position is full-time based in Balearia Sea (subject to change), in the Deck department. Rotation length is 4 weeks on -/off.
