We are looking for a passionate, creative and dynamic Training & Internal Communications Manager to help us shape and deliver engaging training and communications to our global teams.
Your role:
As the Training & Internal Communications Manager, supporting Store Creative & Design (SC&D) you will be responsible for ensuring cohesive and impactful messaging on select internal department communications. You will also develop and manage training programs to support visual merchandising and retail teams in maintaining our brand’s standards. This is a leadership role, where you will manage a team, oversee internal communication strategies, and partner with various stakeholders to drive excellence in execution.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Communications
- Manage and oversee select internal communications for the Global SC&D team, ensuring clear messaging to functional teams and retail store teams across the globe.
- Develop and deliver communication through various channels, including emails, newsletters, leadership messaging, intranet site updates, videos, and global directives.
- Ensure alignment with leadership to deliver key messages in a strategic and effective manner.
- Collaborate with Operations to maintain a global internal communications calendar, aligned with important events like product launches, creative campaigns, and in-store activations.
Training
- Design and deliver in-person and virtual training sessions for Visual Merchandising (VM) Cluster and retail teams.
- Work closely with internal partners to ensure training programs are aligned with business objectives and messaging.
- Lead SC&D Global Strategy Summits and other major training events (both in-person and virtual).
- Develop relationships with external partners to support team growth and professional development.
Operations
- Manage the training and communications budget.
- Oversee vendor relationships, including building a vendor network.
- Provide leadership to the internal team, ensuring continuous development and high performance.
- Collect employee feedback and track KPIs to assess the effectiveness of communications and training, informing future initiatives.
Requirements:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail/Communications Manager with a passion for the jewelry and fashion apparel industries. You are a strategic thinker and articulate communicator. You thrive in retail environments and have a proven track record of understanding what tools are needed to best execute premium brand experiences. With international experience, you excel in leading global teams and facilitating engaging workshops and training sessions. You are hands-on and can create communication and training tools while on the look-out for innovative resources to further support global and cluster teams. If you are a strategic leader with strong communication skills and a dedication to employee development, we’d love to hear from you! You should also have and be able to demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Retail or Communications Manager role (preferably within training or communications).
- Experience in the jewelry and/or fashion apparel industry.
- Proven background with high-profile retail brands, particularly in premium execution.
- International experience, with the ability to work with global teams.
- Experience in hosting and facilitating workshops and training sessions.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Experience in Microsoft SharePoint.
