Our outstanding NORDICS marketing team is looking for its newest member: an inspirational leader. To develop and implement the brand’s marketing strategy across different consumer & shopper audiences and retail channels. And with the objective of strengthening the brand equity, market penetration, and Consumer sales Nordics.
Core responsibilities:
The Head of Marketing will be developing a team across multiple countries & Marketing functions to deliver high impact, innovative and commercially focused programs to build the LEGO® brand. Ensuring that the LEGO Group are the leaders in children’s marketing.
This role is encouraged to play a pivotal role leading a current and growing, team of marketing professionals so strong leadership capabilities are essential in the success of this role. The successful candidate will be reporting to General Manager BU NORDICS.
- Responsible for development and implementation of the marketing strategy to increase the brand penetration among local kids by implementing the outstanding consumer and shopper marketing.
- Ownership and management of the entire marketing budget for the business unit.
- Key member on the BU Leadership Team, involved in setting strategic direction & strategy to ensure the business delivers against growth targets.
- Strong focus on team development, building bench strength for the organization.
- Responsible to build and develop local related occasion-based campaigns.
- Partnership across senior levels of management with Media agency, PR agency, Creative agency, Movie partners, external 3rd party partners and Retail partners.

In the Marketing department we are heading up full end to end marketing activities including marketing strategy development, campaign planning and its execution across consumer, shopper and in-store marketing to strengthen the brand equity, market penetration and drive the commercial success of the business. The department is made up of 3 marketing subject areas with different functional responsibility: Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing & Digital Marketing, and with team members spread across two locations: Istanbul and Athens.
The role is based in the new LEGO® Campus in Billund, offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment – and a little fun as well!
Do you have what it takes?
We are looking for a strong candidate with a degree preferably in marketing or economics. Solid working experience and consistent track record on business performance and leadership within marketing functions Director or Senior Manager level (preferably in FMCG). Also, experience from working internationally or with international companies/brands will be positive evaluated.
- Commercial growth mindset should be persistent, self-motivated and highly driven, and have a can-do mentality.
- Strong passion for working across functions (sales, marketing, operations and leadership teams).
- Experience in previous jobs for team management.
- Strong English skills (Written & Oral).
- Available to travel on an occasional basis (within NORDIC countries and Europe).
