The job
As a Key Account Manager, your task will be to take an active part in the continued growth within one of Senmatic’s primary business areas; the wind and marine industry. It is therefore important that you are able to create long-term relationships with customers and key players.
As a Key Account Manager, your responsibilities will be
- Create new business opportunities within the wind and marine industry.
- Increase revenue by maintaining and developing existing key accounts.
- Increase revenue by proactively adding new customers to the business.
- Keeping up to date with market knowledge.
The job is expected to involve a number of travel days of approximately 30-50 days per year, primarily in Europe.
You will be responsible for expanding market opportunities, developing strategy, action plans and budgets within your area of responsibility.
You will visit both existing and new customers and will be the linchpin in bringing customers closer to the company. You will coordinate projects between customers and your colleagues.
In practice, you will be responsible for the sales outreach and be in charge of the quotation process for contract negotiation as well as the ongoing coordination of all matters related to the collaboration.
Your profile
You have several years of experience from a similar position selling technical products. You have experience in the wind and/or marine industry.
You probably have a technical background with good commercial insight and understanding, alternatively a commercial background with good technical understanding.
You have significant experience with international sales of technical components – including practical experience with account management and use of CRM systems. You are fluent in Danish and English at negotiation level and preferably also have knowledge of German.
As a person, you are independent and curious. You are good at structuring and prioritizing your work tasks and efforts. You are persistent, work independently and your high energy level makes you passionate about engaging with customers.
