The Position
This project holds strategic importance to Novo Nordisk and enjoys high visibility and support from Senior Management. As a crucial part of the IT and Automation team, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the creation, qualification, validation, and security of our IT automation infrastructure. You will engage in quality control procedures to ensure system efficiency and operational readiness. You will be involved in the design, construction, deployment, and management of IT systems, working closely with production, utilities, and various IT and automation teams. You will strive to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Your main responsibilities would be to:
- Support the definition of risks, requirements, and specifications and work with stakeholders and vendors to ensure that the IT infrastructure will meet our operational needs.
- Review, approve, and update design documents.
- Ensure system and network security in compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Provide high quality, responsive and consistent resolutions to IT Incidents in ServiceNow.
- Review and monitor infrastructure health to ensure stability.
Qualifications
We are looking for an ambitious and proactive colleague who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in most of the following skills:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. within IT or Engineering, combined with 2-5+ years of experience in IT and/or Industrial Automation, either from operations and maintenance or project participation.
- Experience with industrial IT hardware and systems in large-scale manufacturing or data center environments, preferably within the Pharma industry or other highly regulated industries (GMP).
- Strong knowledge of system security, data backup, recovery, networking, and network security.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and excellent troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Fluent communication in spoken and written English.
